Which cities in Pakistan have a Tasheer visa centre?

The official Tasheer listing for Pakistan shows a visa application centre in six cities: Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta. The centre itself is chosen inside the official booking flow for the selected visa service, and the official listing stays the current source for the address and the timing of each one.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Where the selected service requires an appointment, it has to be booked in the official Tasheer flow first — a centre appearing on the list does not promise walk-in acceptance for every service. Treat the reporting time on the confirmation as the arrival time, because a late arrival can mean a new appointment.

What are the Tasheer working days and hours?

The official listing gives every Pakistan centre Monday to Friday working days, with a Juma break on Friday in the early afternoon. The hours are not identical at each centre: the listing currently shows a shorter working day at Lahore than at the others.

  • Working hours are published per centre, and the centre page is the current source.
  • Public holiday dates are published for the year with each centre and can be added to.
  • Confirm the centre page again shortly before the visit, because timings are revised during the year.

Which documents do I need for a Tasheer appointment?

It depends on the visa type and on the Saudi mission that publishes the checklist, so there is no single Tasheer document list. The document checker on the Required Documents page of this site returns the official list for the centre and the visa type you choose.

Are the Karachi and Islamabad document lists really different?

Yes. The checklist is published per mission rather than per centre. For a work visa the official flow returns three items for the Islamabad Mission and six for the Karachi Mission, and the resident list names a different medical-report age and a different vaccination item for each. Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Multan follow the Islamabad Mission; Karachi and Quetta follow the Karachi Mission.

Are biometrics always required?

No. Whether fingerprints and a photograph are captured depends on the visa category and the applicant, and the appointment confirmation states what applies. Biometric collection records the applicant’s identity for the application; it is not a visa approval and it does not replace a missing document.

How much is the Tasheer fee?

Tasheer publishes its charges per visa category and per appointment service. On the current schedule a Family Visit application totals PKR 34,712.00 on a Normal appointment and PKR 47,258.50 on Lounge; a Resident application PKR 14,492.00 and PKR 27,038.50; and a Work application PKR 1,530.00 and PKR 4,864.50. The fees page of this site carries the full table, line by line, with the payment modes and Tasheer’s own disclaimer. A fee can be revised with the exchange rate, so the total on the review screen of the official booking flow is the amount payable on the day. Any BookAppointment.pk assistance charge is separate from it and is shown in the request form on this site before you submit.

Can I change, reschedule or cancel an appointment?

Rescheduling and cancellation are controlled by the official Tasheer flow and depend on the service and the appointment status. Check the manage-appointment options with the existing reference before creating a second booking, because a duplicate appointment does not replace the first one.

How do I track my Tasheer application?

Track it with the reference issued after submission, through the official appointment or application-management service. The appointment confirmation, the submission receipt and the tracking reference can be three different numbers, so keep all of them until the passport is back.

What if the name or passport number on the appointment is wrong?

Raise it through the official Tasheer flow as soon as you notice it, with the appointment reference to hand, rather than booking again or editing a printed copy. The correction is handled by the service that owns the appointment, and the applicant’s details have to match the passport exactly.

Can I book at a centre in another city?

Yes. Applicants who live outside the six cities normally travel to the nearest listed centre, and the centre is chosen in the official booking flow. The applicant normally attends in person, so pick the centre and the reporting time you can realistically meet.

Who decides the visa?

The responsible Saudi authorities. Tasheer handles application and appointment processing at the centre, and BookAppointment.pk provides independent assistance with preparation and the appointment request. Neither issues the visa, and nobody can promise an approval, a slot or a processing time.

Quick overview

Tasheer has a visa application centre in six Pakistani cities — Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta — and the documents depend on the visa type and on which Saudi mission publishes the checklist, so Karachi and Quetta can ask for a different list from the other four. The centre, an appointment where the service needs one, and the current Tasheer charge are all confirmed inside the official booking flow.

  1. Check the manage-appointment controls for a reschedule before creating a second booking.
  2. Confirm whether the visa category requires biometrics at the appointment.
  3. Read the current fee on the official booking flow before paying.
  4. Use the checklist for the category so no required document is missed.
  5. Remember that the visa decision rests with the Saudi authorities, not the centre.
